Rare Material(Ecto)Spike
A group of us in GW are trying to spike the Rare Material Crafter by buying Ectos from them. There are curently 65 of us working on this. We set our spending limits to 85k. Cmon lets bring the price up ppl. Join and help bring the ectos back to its rightfull place.

Allrdy started a few mins ago!
Well after a few mins we went from 65 to 125 we all spend 1.5mil the price went from 4 - 4.2k ^^

Hm, this won't work. You're not likely to find enough players. I predict you're just going to waste some of your money. If you need ecto's, buy them from players half way the traders buy and sell prices.

Hmmm
If the ppl sell back to the Merchant then yes the price will drop again(The more the more the merchant has to sell therefore the price goes down) the less they have the more they cost marketing^^!

Once we finish buying all this ectos we can sell them. The amount of ectos i have i can get chaos gloves and if a sell the extrac ones i might be able to buy that voltaic Spear thats been hanging around in Auctions! ^^

I doubt this will work eventually you will just buy out all the trader has like currently with Sup Shadow Arts Runes and back in nightfall preview event same thing happened with tanned hide squares.
